Personal Goal-Setting/Getting “Unstuck”

Do you have a ton of ideas stuck in the “development stage?”

Do you often hear yourself saying things like, “I’m thinking about being a writer/coach/painter/fitness trainer, etc.”, rather than saying, “I AM” one (or more!) of those things?

Do you make endless to-do lists, crossing off all the menial, day-to-day tasks, never seeming to have enough time left at the end of the day to get around to the “big stuff?”

I hear you.

Our brains are wired to want to close all those little loops first (think: to-do list items) before “allowing” us to hunker down and get our big dreams in motion.

During our coaching sessions, we’ll talk about how to flip the script so you can FINALLY get to what’s important (and don’t worry, we’ll still address all those little loops).

Podcast Coaching

Thinking about starting a podcast but don’t know the first thing about recording technology, creating an outline or interviewing people? You’re in luck. As the host of the podcast, “Bloom Where You Are Planted,” I’ve done all the hard work and can now offer my advice and expertise to help get you started.

Journaling and Meditation Coaching

Going through a rough patch and can’t get your mind to settle? In my mini-retreats and wellness programs, I’ve led women through journaling and meditation exercises that have soothed their souls. You’d be amazed at the clarity that comes through once you’ve had a chance to clear the cobwebs of the mind.

FAQs

  • I’ve earned a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University’s College of Human Ecology, which that means that I studied the human experience from scientific, social, and design perspectives I learned to listen and understand people better, so that I can elicit the necessary responses from clients so that they can meet the goals they’ve set for themselves.

I spent over a year being coached by two of the best in the business: Dana Hilmer and Wendy Perrotti of Camp Reinvention. I’m also a founding member of their Camp Reinvention Online program, which meant that I—along with my fellow “campers”—helped shape this comprehensive coaching program.

I’ve been a guest on the A Glimpse Inside Podcast where I talked about How to Lean In When What You Want Feels Big as well as The Idea Space Podcast where I discussed "Tools for Making Your Dream a Reality."

I’ve led community wellness programs that included journaling and meditation exercises, lessons in self-care and how to navigate life’s many changes.

  • That depends…how much are you willing to invest in yourself?

I offer a 30-minute COMPLIMENTARY discovery session. In this session (held virtually or by phone), we will drill down and get clear on the goals you’d like to set and how we can work together to help you achieve them.

My rates are competitive, yet fair; and I offer simple payment plans if needed.

  • While psychotherapy focuses on treating mental health conditions--such as depression, anxiety and other illnesses--coaching focuses on accountability, formulating plans of action for goal-setting and working with clients to overcome the limiting beliefs that may be holding them back from meeting those goals.

I am certified in Mental Health First Aid and have been trained to recognize and respond to the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as to someone in the midst of a mental health crisis. If I feel that your situation warrants a consultation with a mental health professional, rather than coaching, I will refer you to sources of support.
